The Hair Behind the Clips
Most clip-in sets fail for the same reason. Hair collected loose and blended from many people has cuticles pointing in different directions, so the strands catch on each other. To hide that, the cuticle is stripped and the hair is coated in silicone. It feels perfect in the box. A few washes later the coating is gone and the hair turns dry and knotty.

Care That Keeps Them Beautiful
Wash every 15–20 wears with a sulfate-free shampoo, condition mid-lengths to ends, and let them air-dry flat. Use a heat protectant before styling. Store them dry and brushed, flat in a box or on a hanger. Never sleep, shower, or swim in clip-ins. Unprocessed hair has no coating to wash off, so its softness isn't a temporary finish.
